About Pacmed

At Pacmed we develop world leading AI-based decision support software for intensive care doctors. It’s a hugely exciting area where we’re breaking boundaries every day. We’re looking for an experienced operations manager to help us build out and streamline our implementation processes to realize sustainable growth.

We have currently implemented our software in our first ICUs and have the ambitions to scale across the Netherlands and Europe (and beyond).

What this role is all about

As Operations Manager, your most immediate mission is to work with the Implementation & Care Team to steadily work towards streamlining our implementation processes. You plan and coordinate the work, keep stakeholders up to date, and ensure deadlines and quality standards are met. The Implementation & Care team currently consists of Brian (Implementation Manager), Mattia (Data Scientist) and Jim (Implementation Engineer).

With more and more ICU’s live, the need for customer support grows. This is the Care part of the role and consists of ensuring we are able to deliver excellent support. This function is still in the early stages, so there is an opportunity to bring your organizational skills to set up customer support in a strategic, sustainable manner.

What would be expected of you

  • Coordinate the work of the D&C team to ensure that we:
    • Meet implementation deadlines with new hospitals

    • Offer support to our current customers

    • Reduce our overall implementation time

    • Safeguard the quality of the team’s output

    • Manage all relevant stakeholders accordingly (e.g., medical, hospital IT & legal staff, and internal stakeholders)

  • Map and improve current processes, and ensure they work with(in) the workflows of other teams in the organization

  • Align with other teams for a clear division of resources where necessary

  • Continuous alignment with the product team and roadmap to ensure we meet implementation deadlines and are ready for scaling

  • Assure quality of our implementation and customer processes are compliant to regulatory demands

  • Help build out the customer support processes and team

Must-haves

  • Dutch language skills (native)

  • Project (portfolio) management skills

  • Experience with managing technical implementations in healthcare

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Should-haves

  • Passion for and experience in the healthcare industry

  • Experience with multi and senior stakeholder management projects

  • Highly organized, able to deal with ambiguity and complexity

  • Experience with process mapping, improvements and optimisation

  • Engaging leadership style with a hands-on approach

Nice-to-haves

These are things that would make your profile jump out!

  • Experience working in a startup environment (pre product market fit)

  • Experience managing and/or setting up a customer support function

  • Experience in healthtech / medtech / Artificial Intelligence

  • Experience with adoption and change management

  • Experience with privacy law and information security
